MUSIC, DANCE AND DRAMA

In school, every student was given a choice to pick an elective that they wanted to do for that entire year. Out of art, dance, music, and drama, I picked the latter. It was the only semi-normal elective that the school gave us, so what choice did I have? Now I know that I regret my choice; I just don’t know what to do. Every girl in my drama class was assigned a scene to act out with only one prop, and I was given a restaurant theme using one of our chef hats. When my teacher, Heather, mentioned that it was mandatory to wear the hat, I could not believe what I was hearing. I couldn’t mess up my hair! Every morning I spend at least twenty minutes to tame my thick, blonde, curly hair, and it would be impossible to remake it if it ever got messed up.  So there was no way that I would voluntarily put myself in that situation, and instead of speaking to the teacher calmly, I sulked and peevishly sat down in my seat. This was not my day. First I forgot my lunch at home, got a bad mark on my test, and now this! After giving myself some time to think, I decided to stop feeling sorry for myself and find a solution. In no time I found the perfect thing to do! I would just pick out one of the really big hats so that it would not mess up my curls. That idea really worked, and even though I had to constantly lift the hat so that my face would not be obscured, my hair was as good as new when my scene was over. It was great!
